The plaza situated in front of the Brendan Iribe Center for Computer Science and Engineering. The building was officially opened and available for student use during the spring semester of 2019. 

Students on mopeds waiting at a stop light in front of the University of Maryland's entrance. On a large campus such as Maryland's, many students find convenient ways of getting around, using scooters, mopeds and bikes to navigate the streets. 

Tawes Hall situated near Lot 1 on the University of Maryland's campus. The hall is one of the largest academic buildings of campus. 

Steam billowing out of the ground behind the South Campus Dining Hall on the University of Maryland's campus. Manholes like these can be found in various places around campus, as the university get its heating through underground steam pipes. 

Trees outside of  Van Munching Hall on the University of Maryland's campus. In October, some trees in College Park turn colors more quickly than others. 

The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center on the University of Maryland's campus. While the rest of the building's exterior remains dimly lit, this portion becomes clearly visible during the nighttime.  


The University of Maryland's Facilities Management Building situated on Route 1 in College Park. Its granite pillars and brick exterior are similar in design to many other buildings around campus.
