World Series -- Angela Roberts

When it's game day for the University of Maryland's baseball team, cheers and applause from fans pour out from Smith Stadium, overlapping with an announcer's rumble. But it's game day for the Washington Nationals, so the diamond is still and silent.
A single student lounges inside Stamp Student Union's TerpZone, watching the World Series on a stack of big screens.

Students move through the rainy night, their faces scrunched up against the pouring water droplets. Still, they line up outside of R.J. Bentley's laughing and joking with their companions as the noise of the World Series carries from the bar.
Barely an hour after the World Series began, a fan ducks out from the Rail. Inside, the game continues.
