Assignment #12 - Jonathan Tercasio

Workers putting up a fence along the construction zone of the new Cole Field House at the University of Maryland.
Birds perched on the fence bordering the construction zone for the new Cole Field House at the University of Maryland. On a campus busy with life, even nature adapts to construction.
A reflective work vest propped up on a wooden plank. On the warmer days in November, workers strip down from their sweatshirts and vests to something more appropriate for the temperature--like a t-shirt or a long sleeve.
A worker spreading tar over a freshly patched hole on North Campus.

A worker uses a shovel to stir concrete. In the late afternoon, when other workers have left for the day, he works alone.

Workers watch their colleague operate the excavator, to make sure he doesn't damage any underground pipes. They're working on Stadium Drive, right outside Cumberland Hall on North Campus.
