Assignment #7
Telling a Story

A street-view of the annual Lisbon Sunflower Farm from Maryland Route 144 in Lisbon, Maryland. The Lisbon Sunflower Farm typically lasts up to three weeks, drawing in massive amounts of visitors.

Visitors are expected to pay $5 upon entrance into the sunflower fields. The workers at the visitors
booth took the day off due to scattered storms.
Signs can be found along the designated pathways to ensure visitors do not disrupt the sunflower fields.

The first sunflower I observed held a pleasant surprise. If you look closely, you will see a grasshopper camouflaging in the leaves of the sunflower.

Up close and personal: the vibrant sunflowers overshadowed the rainy, muggy weather.

A clearing in the field is complete with a large platform for visitors to stand on and observe the entirety of the sunflower patch.

An overhead view of the sunflower patch and the farmlands of Lisbon, Maryland from atop the platform.

The perfectly-paved exit pathway of the Lisbon Sunflower Farm is lined with Sunflowers with faces drawn into them.

A friendly goodbye: the flowers by the exit reflected the positivity of the annual Lisbon Sunflower Farm. Until next year!
