Andrea Shirdon, sophomore environmental science and policy double major, and Mikaela Greenwald, sophomore public policy major, are chatting as they run the Farmers Market information booth on Wednesday afternoon.
The organization "Terp Farm" created a vibrant display of fresh picked flowers for the Farmers Market.
Jewelry designer Katie Cote uses recycled and donated beads for her small business "While Waiting." Each piece is uniquely configured using a variety of repurposed materials.
Fresh-picked apples were piled in crates at the produce tent. The tents are placed strategically throughout the bustling Tawes Garden Plaza.
Containers of pumpkins and squash were a major hit at this weeks Farmers Market.
Sweet peppers of all shapes, sizes, and colors were sold by the container for just $4. The yellow variety stood out with it's unique spike-like shape.
These baby heirloom tomatoes were displayed in perfectly aligned rows. The produce tent offered a variety of colors, including red, orange and yellow.
These deep-magenta color of these fresh-picked eggplant stood out in the produce stands.
Alex Shines and Stephanie Nichols are seen running the booth for PINKAVA Coffee.
